Awaken your emotions through art therapy
Painter and therapist Yolande Brouillard will help you discover art as a tool for self-expression.
When: April 18, 2024, 5 pm to 7 pm (Please note that the April 4 activity has been postponed to April 18.)
Cost: $10 for members • $15 for non-members
Materials required: Bring blank paper, pencils or pastels and explore for yourself the potential of art therapy in a friendly, relaxed atmosphere.

Join us for a conference-workshop dedicated to the discovery of art therapy, a powerful approach to exploring your emotions and stimulating and encouraging the expression of your creativity. Come meet and listen to our guest speaker, Yolande Brouillard, who will tell you, among other things, about her fascination for humanity in all its dimensions. Let her guide your discovery of the creative resources that lie dormant within you. A short workshop will follow the lecture.

Initially trained at UQAM (1974-79) in visual arts and art pedagogy, Yolande Brouillard then returned to school to complete her training as a counselling therapist with Colette Portelance, PhD. Armed with her knowledge, she led art therapy workshops for nearly two decades in Montreal and Cowansville, as well as several intensive courses in Quebec, Mexico, Costa Rica and France.
Yolande Brouillard worked with psychoanalyst Guy Corneau for ten years in Quebec and France. Watch the video on Youtube, “Guy Corneau en atelier, episode # 5, entitled Je ne sais pas ce qui me passionne. Today, Yolande Brouillard continues to practice and share her passion for art.
