Penser penché II

In the project « Penser penché II », Françoise Ségard, who completed a degree in visual arts and media in 2015, presents a body of work that explores the many specific pictorial techniques of wax-painting (beeswax and pigments) as of the free representation of an aerial view.

It brings the audience through different stages of emotions that can be experienced from a high angle. The medium’s sensibility transforms the image, thus allowing the artist to create a mix of representational and abstract images.

It is made from imaginary mapped areas that reflect its ability to understand the surrounding. Ségard’s artworks can be found in public, private and corporate collections.
