Contest Rules

To participate:

• The artist must be 18 years of age or older.
• L’The artist must present a single, original, exclusive, and recent work (from 2023 or 2024), identified as follows:
  • Artist's name
  • Title of the work
  • Year of execution
  • Technique and mediums used
  • Dimensions (in centimeters)
  • Price
• Works in two dimensions should not exceed 122 cm in height x 96 cm in width, including the frame
• The work must be completely dry or fixed and ready for hanging; with eyelets and wire suspension. (No other system will be accepted.)
• The following techniques and mediums are accepted: collage, drawing, printmaking, oil, acrylic, watercolor, gouache, pastel, ink, and mixed techniques, photography.
• Sculptures should not exceed 182 cm in height x 76 cm in width x 76 cm in depth. They must be easily transportable by one person.
• 2D and 3D works requiring special installation or composed of multiple elements are not accepted.
• To participate in the exhibition, the artist must be a member in good standing of the ARTS SUTTON Art Center or become one at the time of registration. The annual membership fee for artist members is $50.
• Arts Sutton will retain a commission equivalent to 35% of the sale price of any work sold.
• Due to the space available, Arts Sutton accepts a limited number of works and reserves the right to refuse entries once the maximum number is reached.
