Artistic workshops & lectures
Call for proposals
As part of its program of activities, Arts Sutton is looking for enthusiastic and creative artists who would like to offer artistic training to our members and, more broadly, to the region's community.
Desired qualities are:
- Good communication skills
- Teaching skills (experience an asset)
- Competence in the proposed subject.
Examples of workshops: painting techniques; illustration; modeling; printing techniques; textile arts; digital art; performance, lecture, etc.
A basic package of $200 is offered for a minimum 3-hour workshop. An hourly rate of $50 is charged for each hour thereafter. Workshops can last from 3 to 6 hours maximum (over a full day or two half-days). The lecture fee is $200.
These activities are generally held in our art center. Tables, chairs, computer, projector and screen are available on site. Washroom facilities are also available.
Please note that workshops requiring materials that are too messy (e.g. plaster) may not be accepted, given the constraints of the premises.
