Talleen Hacikyan is a printmaker, illustrator and art educator. Born in Montreal, she has been a member of Atelier Circulaire since 1985. Her collagraphs, monotypes and sculptural prints explore human identity and our sense of place as it relates to the natural world. She is the recipient of several prestigious awards: The Speedball Purchase Award, the Pratt & Whitney Canada Pierre Henry Prize, and the Loto-Quebec Printmaking Prize. Her works have been widely exhibited in Canada and internationally and are included in many public and private collections.
