Whether objective or interpretive, focused on the present, the past, or even the future, this gaze is often the starting point of an artistic or political practice, a form of social engagement, or the development of theories and diverse approaches.<\/p>\n<p>In the context of an exhibition, this offers our member artists an opportunity to reflect on their practice, to take a fresh look at their work, and to question the sources of their inspiration and the direction of their artistic journey.<\/p>\n<p>Bringing together a wide range of intersecting and personal perspectives, this exhibition highlights the rich and diverse artistic practices of our member artists.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\t<p>You are invited to submit your application for the members&#8217; thematic collective exhibition titled <em><strong>Regards\/Gazes<\/strong><\/em>. This annual event offers a unique platform to showcase the artistic talents of our community in the Arts Sutton exhibition space.<\/p>\n\t\t\t<a href=\"https:\/\/artssutton.com\/appels-de-dossiers\/collectif-des-membres\/formulaire-collectif\/\" target=\"_self\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\tRegistration Form\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/a>\n<h3>\n\t\t\tInformation &amp; Participation Criteria\t<\/h3>\n\t<ul>\n<li>Be a member in good standing of Arts Sutton, or become one at the time of registration. The annual membership fee for artist members is $60 (<a href=\"https:\/\/artssutton.com\/en\/gallery\/membership\/\">https:\/\/artssutton.com\/en\/gallery\/membership\/<\/a>)<\/li>\n<li>Submit a current resume or CV.<\/li>\n<li>Provide a short explanatory text establishing the connection between the artwork and the theme.<\/li>\n<li>No specific format or medium is imposed.<\/li>\n<li>Two-dimensional works must be dry, properly mounted, and ready for wall installation (with wire and hanging hardware-please specify if another system is used). Three-dimensional works must be easily transportable by one person.<\/li>\n<li>Artists may submit more than one work. Photos of the artworks must be submitted in JPG format, with a minimum width of 1200 pixels and a maximum file size of 2 MB.<\/li>\n<li>Only the artworks illustrated in the submitted images may be exhibited.<\/li>\n<li>Artwork prices are set by the artist. A 35% commission will be retained on each sale to support the activities of the organization.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Submission Deadline<\/h3>\n<p>All applications must be received no later than Monday, February 9 at 11:59 p.m.<\/p>\n<h3>Announcement of Results<\/h3>\n<p>Selected artists and artworks will be announced on February 13, 2026.<\/p>\n\t<h3>Mission<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Arts Sutton<\/strong> was founded <strong>in 1980<\/strong>, out of the desire of a group of artists from the region to establish a space for the diffusion of visual and creative arts. In 1986, following a reexamination of its mission and orientation, Arts Sutton became recognized by the Ministry of Culture and Communications as a center for the diffusion of the arts and received its first government grant. Arts Sutton found a home in the gym of the former Sutton elementary school. The site was renovated in 1992, thanks to support from both the Ministry of Culture and Communications and the town of Sutton.
